More Information

As I have said elsewhere in this site, I use (and give away to others) all products for at least a year before offering them for sale into the "real" line of products. I wasn't sure about this one, but after all the reports came in, I had to believe what I experienced to be true for myself.

One of the surgeries I had was for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. The surgeon who did the task was very skilled and knowledgeable and I am sure that he did a good job performing a relatively new and very invasive procedure. In addition, I nearly begged him to do the surgery, as I was willing to do anything to relieve myself of the unrelenting "electric shocks" (have you ever had an abscessed tooth? That is the kind of "electric shock" I am trying to describe) in my elbow that went off every 45 to 60 seconds, day and night for over 4 years. Unfortunately, the surgery did not relieve the symptoms, but did leave residual scar tissue inside the collarbone area.

Although I have a dandy scar from the surgery, at this old age I am not to be concerned about this scar from a cosmetic viewpoint. However, the internal scar tissue was causing quite some problems relating to range of motion (and pain therein). I decided to develop this product to see if I could diminish the scars from my surgeries (this one and the one that followed three months later from surgery on my shoulder). I used the oil formula for over six months and found that just by topical application (no massage or deep tissue work which was too painful) not only did the appearance of the scar diminish, but the internal scar tissue also diminished, leaving me with less pain and more range of motion.

My most vocal post-surgery customers are those who have had knee surgery. I have had many customers report back that their incisions healed so fast that their doctors questioned what were they doing that could cause such fast and non-scarring healing.

Be sure that your wound has healed to the point of neither being "open" nor at all infected. If it is not too painful, it seems to help to "massage" the blend into the scar-area to break down (or prevent) the formation of keloid tissue (keloid tissue is scar formation in the skin following trauma or surgical incision; the tissue response is out of proportion to the amount of scar tissue required for normal repair and healing; the result is a raised, firm, thickened red scar which may grow for a prolonged period of time).
