Hydrosol Mist

A true hydrosol (also called a hydrolat) is a by-product of the distillation process of a plant part (leaf, flower, root, etc.) to obtain the essential oil of that particular plant part. The hydrosol is the "off water" and contains the active, water-soluble chemical constituents of that essence.
The combination of hydrosols used in this blend are traditionally used for soothing and helping to heal dry, cracked, and troubled skin. To use, spray directly onto dry or troubled skin and rub in, or allow to air dry.
For best results for dry, troubled, cracked, and scaly skin use in combination with our "Serious" Balm for Dry Skin Relief. Spray hydrosol onto palm of hand, rub together with small dollop of balm, and apply to dry-skin areas.
True Hydrosols of: Sandalwood, Rose, and Helichrysum.
Available in 2 oz (60 ml) amber glass bottle with spray-mist top.

More Information

The smell of this hydrosol mist can be a surprise to some people. To me, the woody scent of the sandalwood, and the sweetness of the rose and helichrysum synergistically combine to become an awesome blend that reminds me of molasses, or cookies baking in the oven! If you have any kind of a job, craft or hobby that makes your skin or fingertips dry, but you can't use anything at all oily on your skin while doing that job or craft, try spraying some of this hydrosol mist onto your skin. It contains no oil, dries immediately, and smoothes over all the roughness, leaving your skin feeling like silk! Recently I had a lady tell me that the Hydrosol Mist for Dry Skin Relief worked great for the type of "moist" eczema she has as she cannot use anything that is a balm or lotion without aggravating the condition. Again, everyone is different, sometimes you just have to try it and see how it works for your particular situation.
