Much of my education has come from Dr. Christoph Streicher and for several years I sponsored his classes here in the Seattle area. Because my business now requires ALL my time and energy, I am no longer able to personally bring Dr. Streicher to our area.
Dr. Streicher and The Foundation of Aromatherapy Education & Research offer a series of classes leading to aromatherapy certification, giving students a solid introduction to aromatherapy. The Foundation is also responsible for ensuring the quality of Amrita's essential oils by use of gas chromatographic testing.
I highly recommend these classes to all who seek solid, scientific, and what I call "left brain" aromatherapy education.
If you would like to receive information as to how you can sponsor these classes in your area please call the Foundations of Aromatherapy at 641.472.2422 ext. 218.
Here is some information about
Dr. Christoph Streicher
President, Amrita Aromatherapy
Founder, The Foundation for Aromatherapy Education and Research
Dr. Christoph Streicher has a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Würzburg, Germany and a Ph.D. in Physiology from Maharishi International University, Fairfield, Iowa, where he focused on the relationship of plant life to human consciousness. He has studied both western science and Ayurveda, the 5000 year-old Vedic medical science that regards physiological balance the basis for perfect health.
Christoph was mentored in aromatherapy by France's world renowned Jacques Paltz, a foremost authority on using essential oils both internally and externally for healing, and in skin care. He also studied with a number of well-known Indian Ayurvedic physicians, learning the time-tested therapeutic use of essential oils for increasing vitality and balance.
In 1989, Christoph founded Amrita Aromatherapy, Inc. Being an outspoken advocate of the importance of essential oil purity to guarantee therapeutic benefits, he personally researches, sources, and conducts gas chromatographic analysis on all essential oils offered by Amrita, ensuring that only 100% true, unadulterated botanical oils are included in the line.
He travels internationally speaking on the art and science of aromatherapy. His special field of study is the self-regenerating influence of plant intelligence on human consciousness.
